Do you know those travel lists (of the type: 10 places to know before you die) with the most amazing places that people do and share on facebook? Yeah ... Israel was one of the places among the top of my list. I like Jerusalem most because this place is simply awesome and have great adventures, historical experience. Peoples who love travelling they should definitely plan a trip to jerusalem this year.

And despite all the tension we feel, especially when we enter the fire area (because of the GPS, which indicated the shortest route ... but this is subject to another post), the trip was unforgettable. We visit the country from north to south, from east to west, by rental car ... and believe me: it was one of the most incredible adventures in jerusalem of all we ever lived.
And Jerusalem was without a doubt the icing on the cake.
Jerusalem is a kind of "oasis" of tranquility amid all the tension in the rest of the country, being considered a sacred place for the three religions - Christians, Jews and Muslims. There, despite having "territories" defined, Jews and Muslims live in a regime of mutual tolerance.
And it is within the mordern Jerusalem that is the Old City, or Old City, stage of very important events for the three great religions present there. The visit to the Old City provokes emotions and reflections. And you certainly will not get out of there the same way you entered.
Surrounded by an immense wall, the Old City is divided between the Arab, Armenian, Christian and Jewish districts. In it is concentrated a large part of the religious attractions of Jerusalem, as well as an endless labyrinth of corridors with shopping and dining options.
To reach the Basilica of the Holy Sepulcher, we enter the Old City by the Gate of Damascus and look for Via Dolorous. According to Christian tradition, the Via Dolorosa was the path traveled by Jesus when he carried the cross to Calvary.
